In the heart of Ripley’s pedestrianised retail area ARBA Group secured Costa for their recently refurbished and extended property.
read moreARBA Group speculatively acquired the former Yorkshire Bank in 2016 situated on Oxford Street, the main pedestrianised street in Ripley and obtained planning consent for a change of use to retail, a new shop front and a ground floor extension. Once consent was obtained Costa Coffee was secured as a tenant and the consented works were carried out by ARBA in early 2017. The quality of this refurbishment undertaken is excellent and Costa commented upon handover that it was rare for them to take possession of a property from a landlord to such a high standard. This is another fine example of a redundant property on a prominent high street being regenerated for a modern use by ARBA.

With the aim of providing a gateway landmark scheme on this prominent and well known local site offering good links to the town centre, market square and Four Seasons Shopping centre this is an important regeneration project for Mansfield.

Creatively using the former vaults as eye testing rooms for customers ARBA have worked with Specsavers to deliver an important facility to the local people of South Elmsall. The store opened in March 2018 and the investment has now been sold.
ARBA Group acquires town centre site for new retail scheme and car parking.
read moreSituated in the centre of Warsop the land formerly proposed and consented for a Tesco store has been acquired by ARBA for the development of a more sensitive retail scheme containing five retail units, car parking and an office suite. Subject to planning consent that could be granted as early as summer 2019 the development is set to open to customers in early 2021. It is intended to provide circa 18,000 sqft of space. Linking Church Street with Burns Land, much needed new retail uses will be joining existing retailers such as Boyes, Coop, Subway, Betfred, Rowlands Pharmacy, Lloyds Bank and Nisa.

ARBA Group has acquired the former Prezzo Restaurant in Ripon. Advised by GVA Leeds the property has been bought in the knowledge that Prezzo were closing but also with four interested parties vying for a new lease on the ground floor and basement. The retail went under offer and let to Specsavers before completion. The uppers presently provide four flats, however, ARBA Group intends to redevelop the two floors into eight modern well-presented apartments with access to the market square and parking to the rear.

ARBA Group has purchased the former council housing offices and council chambers on Huddersfield Road from Kirklees Council advised by Bramleys. A stone built property backing onto the council yard the property is highly prominent but in dilapidated condition.
